In Okinawa amid the bloodiest skirmish of WWII, Desmond Doss (Andrew Garfield) spared 75 men without shooting or conveying a weapon. He was the main American fighter in WWII to battle on the bleeding edges without a weapon, as he trusted that while the war was legitimized, murdering was by the by off-base. As an armed force surgeon, he without any assistance cleared the injured from behind foe lines, conquered fire while tending to officers and was injured by a projectile and hit by expert sharpshooters. Doss was the principal pacifist granted the Congressional Medal of Honor.
Hacksaw Ridge is one of the best movies of 2016.
